Horse Riders Physio

Sports Physiotherapy specific to the horse rider. Caroline has completed her level 1 coaching certificate through EA and understands the complexities of equine sport and understand the requirements of the human body during riding.

How can we help?

We can help with riders who get pain when riding, have trouble with certain movements, eg. “my halt is never straight” or “I just can get my left leg against the horse the same as the right.” Through analysis of muscle weaknesses, tightness’s, and areas of stiffness, looking a photos and video of you riding we can pin point the issues and give you exercises to fix them. We have lots of happy riders out there, who have fixed significant issues.

How it works

By taking video footage of movement and applying specialised software the Physiotherapist is able to analyse where the joints, limbs and trunk are placed in relationship to one another. This knowledge, combined with knowledge of biomechanics and horse riding, the physio is able to pin-point issues and provide solutions. This process enables a truly effective result getting to the core of the problem.
